SAS recognized as one of the best places to work in Norway
SAS Institute is one of Norway’s best places to work, according to the latest ranking published by Great Place to Work®. Areas of strength for the company were its scores for atmosphere, ethical management, work life balance, autonomous working and brand pride.
In the competition, the satisfaction level of more than 30,000 employees is analyzed, and assessment of policies and practices in all Norwegian companies are conducted. This is ensured through representative national surveys, the National Confidence Index. SAS achieved 8th place among the medium-sized companies, with between 50-199 employees.

Understanding the perspective of employees is key to building a successful workplace environment.

In the open comments, employees frequently cited their relationships with colleagues and the collaboration amongst peers. This positive perception is evident amongst the scores relating to camaraderie of 93%, where 96% agree that SAS is a friendly place to work. At SAS Norway all employees are coached to take ownership and be a leader in their field and own position.
"93% highlight the flexible approach that enable them to enjoy freedom in how they fulfil their responsibilities. Autonomy has been demonstrated by the way our employees have successfully embraced working from home during the COVID-19 crisis, supported by clear policies and guidelines. While these are difficult times, SAS has proven to be resilient", continue Seglem.
