SAS Global Technology Practice, Director, SAS

The Global Technology Practice supports the most challenging customer engagements, often involving Big Data Analytics, Hadoop, Streaming, Cloud, Open Source and SAS in-memory technologies. Based on the extensive skills and experience of the staff, the Practice also focuses on the development and communication of proven best practices across a broad spectrum of SAS product segments, including data management,data visualisation, and analytics, as well as leading-edge computing architectures.

Adrian looks at how organisations use data and analytics strategically, with a specific focus on optimising the data and analytics architecture. This work often includes bridging business and IT to define a solution. This role requires working closely with SAS R&D on new product direction as well as working with customers to apply this learning in the field.

Prior to joining SAS in 2006, Adrian worked in the business, data and analytics areas of a UK bank for 17 years. The roles included both business and IT functions covering design, delivery and support perspectives. Adrian has TOGAF 9 Foundation certification and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB). Adrian is a keen road cyclist outside of work.
