Bisnode is testing SAS Viya as a common analytics platform
Provider of smart data analytics services company Bisnode is using a broad range of SAS components for predictive models and real time decisioning. They are now testing SAS Viya as a common analytics platform to see how the cloud-enabled environment allows them to scale their analysis in practice.
Our vision is to have one analytics platform that our analytics teams across different countries can use. This new architecture will enable us to work as ‘One Bisnode’, and SAS Viya can be the analytics platform we are looking forMarcus Hartmann Group Director Analytics Bisnode
Bisnode is working in eighteen markets providing different analytical offerings. In Sweden, Norway and Germany among others, they are using a broad range of SAS components for predictive models and real time decisioning.
Now, Bisnode is testing SAS Viya, because they want to unify the way they build analytical solutions and merge analytical tools into one common analytical platform to increase efficiency and collaboration.
“Our vision is to have one analytics platform that our analytics teams across different countries can use. In Bisnode we have set a goal to have a common target architecture. This new architecture will enable us to work as ‘One Bisnode’, and SAS Viya can be the analytics platform we are looking for,” explains Marcus Hartmann, Group Director Analytics in Bisnode.
Bisnode is facing exponential growth of daily data volumes they have to process, so they want to test the cloud environment that SAS Viya provides to see how it allows them to scale their analytics capacity in practice.
Bisnode will evaluate the advanced analytical lift and the new range of machine learning, text analytics and context analytics methods that will be integrated into a single platform.
