Director of Marketing, Nordics
Jens is responsible for driving Nordic marketing initiatives as well as contributing to Global and EMEA Marketing. He manages a team of marketing experts who are placed geographically across the four Nordic offices but work both in cross-functional and international teams to ensure that SAS utilized all insight as well as all marketing expertise.
“To ensure digital transformation across functions including marketing, you need to excel in data exploration. Relevant marketing takes part of its insight from business data, just as sales initiatives are informed by marketing data. SAS is uniquely positioned to drive this change both internally and for our clients,” says Jens.
He points to the unique network organization in SAS that allows to innovate locally and scale globally as a key attraction point when choosing to join SAS after roles in large technology companies such as SAP, Ericsson, B&O, and Nokia.
Jens has a background of 20+ years in global and regional roles in large telco, technology and media companies as well as in technology startups.
In private life, he lives in Malmö with his partner and three children. He is active in several sports including football, tennis, golf and windsurfing.
