Using data from the warehouse has already reduced the efforts and time required to prepare a range of business unit reports. There has also seen a significant reduction of errors in reports, which are more widely available to a larger number of business users through the corporate business intelligence portal.
An important success factor for the first project phase was the active participation of business departments and users. UniCredit Bank had to balance its needs with project constraints, such as time frames, budgets and legacy system limitations.
