SAS Italy listed among Great Workplaces again in 2015

Every year since 2010, SAS Italy has appeared among the top 25 organizations in the Best Workplaces Italia list. The research, conducted by Great Place To Work®, highlights organizations in which employees trust the people they work for, have pride in the work they do, and enjoy the people they work with. The model further defines how relationships between employees and managers play out in five dimensions: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Camaraderie.

“The contribution that this program brings to entire company is linked to its consistency with the organization’s global policy: to give careful attention to employee wellbeing, both in work and private life,” says Marco Icardi, Vice President of the South East Europe region for SAS. “We encourage our employees to be creative and innovative. That helps them to be passionate and collaborative in their work.”

“Communicate, involve and customize” are the keywords that represent SAS Italy’s human resources policy. “We know that our HR policies are directly related to successful customer relationships, which contribute to our company's success,” says Icardi.

Another important focus is to continue to develop the entire SAS ecosystem – customers, partners and other fundamental stakeholders – through our work with universities and educational institutions. “We like to consider SAS as an organization that helps young people to enter in the working world, and contributes to university research and social sustainability initiatives based on shared values. All this increases our employees' pride and their engagement,” Icardi adds.

SAS Italy continues to participate in the survey in order to analyze internal feedback it provides to improve the activities of each team. “We aim for two different goals: implement the best decisions relating to business strategy and celebrate individual professional achievements,” concludes Icardi.
