Proven Practices for Predictive Modeling

This presentation will share common strategies of the most successful organizations that emphasize the importance and power of analytics. The session will be led by Melodie Rush, Principal Systems Engineer at SAS. We’ll cover overall analytics process as well as the discrete steps of building a predictive model. We’ll be including best-practice segments on data preparation and sampling; input (variable) examination, selection and transformation; and model selection and validation.
