The Gartner report also highlights the size of the data quality tools market, noting, "Gartner estimates that it reached $1.4 billion in software revenue at the end of 2014. This translates into 11.6% growth in constant-dollar terms over 2013, which had brought 11.9% growth over 2012. Gartner forecasts that this market's growth will accelerate during the next few years, to 14.4% by 2017, bringing the total to $2.1 billion. This market is among the fastest-growing in the enterprise software sector."
