About this paper
Consumer Goods Technology (CGT) has published its Sales & Marketing Report annually since 2005, making year-to-year comparisons about how the industry is progressing toward universally accepted goals and the state of sales and marketing in the consumer goods arena. Although basic consumer needs haven't changed very much since 2005, the ways in which consumers solve their needs have changed dramatically.
Shifts in both consumer behavior and technological capabilities have changed industry goals from just improving day-to-day business to the more alarming topic of transformation for the future.
CGT’s Sales & Marketing Report 2017, sponsored by SAS, looks at progress updates on several key topics, including supply chain, trade promotion, direct-to-consumer marketing, data and analytics, security and the digital enterprise. Download the report to see the findings.
