Workplace culture pioneer SAS joins Center for Generational Kinetics to recognize Best Places to Work for Millennials

Business analytics leader and workplace culture pioneer SAS is supporting the Center for Generational Kinetics to recognize the 2015 Best Places to Work for Millennials

The inaugural list, which comes on the heels of news that millennials are the largest generation in America’s workforce, also offers new insights into what it takes to recruit and retain top millennial performers.

“Having SAS as our Thought Leadership Sponsor sends the message loud and clear that they recognize the importance of millennial employees and the changing world of work – from analytics to workplace culture. SAS has been a pioneer in analytics and innovation, and their support of this national award and its underlying research is just one more reason why SAS is a great place for every generation to work,” said Jason Dorsey, author and millennial researcher for the Center for Generational Kinetics.

SAS was recently named among the 2015 Best Places to Work for Recent Grads. SAS is greatly committed to helping its young professionals thrive. Full-time training programs, such as the SAS Academy, provide both in-class and on-the-job training to ensure that recent grads are set up for success before moving into their full-time roles. A young professionals group offers them a sense of community in the early stages of their career.

“It’s important to cultivate the future of SAS, and our young professionals are paving the way,” said SAS CEO Jim Goodnight.

SAS is widely recognized as a pioneer in workplace culture. SAS ranked No. 2 on the Great Places to Work World's Best Multinational Workplaces list last year, and in 2013 and 2014 ranked No. 2 on Fortune magazine’s list of Best Companies to Work For in the US. In 2014, SAS offices in Greece, the Netherlands and Poland were ranked No. 1. SAS has also been among the top workplaces in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Mexico, Poland, Portugal and the UK. In addition, SAS was ranked No. 4 as a great place to work in Europe. The Great Place to Work Institute has recognized SAS many times since the organization was founded to identify companies that have created great workplaces.
