Get Involved: How Simulation and Visualization Educates Citizens on Transportation Policy

Use the NC CRAFTS program to forecast “what-if” planning scenarios directly from the public – all based in analytics

About the webinar

What-if scenario planning is vital to the success of transportation agencies. Involving the public in those decisions is critical to improving transparency and accountability.

With the NC CRAFTS project, sponsored by the bipartisan 13-member NC FIRST Commission, what-if scenarios are generated based on a strong analytics foundation. Citizens can input their priorities for investment and identify creative ways to pay for them.

This webinar will show how this system works and discuss opportunities for agencies (in transportation and related to transportation) to create similar dashboards for scenario planning.
