Outside of SAS, he cofounded and leads the Advancement League, celebrated for its 24-hour Community Impact Competitions and Young Health Leader Summit. Before SAS, he spearheaded consumer experience and value-based initiatives at Blue Cross NC and Geisinger Health. At Blue Cross NC, he defined “Exceptional Experience” as easy, connected, home-first and for everyone. At Geisinger Health Plan, he developed a business strategy that led to a 55% increase in Medicare net promoter score and a 35% increase overall within two years.

Mark Lambrecht

Head of Global Health Care and Life Sciences Advisory, SAS

Dr. Mark Lambrecht leads a senior team at SAS working for the health care and life sciences industry and organizations. His team is bringing SAS’ new HLS solutions to market and constantly seeking innovation by identifying customer needs. He’s also interested in data standards that enable the industry to share and reuse patient data to find new cures for the benefit of humankind. Before joining SAS, Mark worked in the pharmaceutical industry and studied at KU Leuven in Belgium and Stanford University, where he worked as a bioinformatics scientist specializing as a data scientist for high volumes of biological and genomics data using diverse technologies and approaches.

Steve Kearney

Global Medical Director, SAS

Steve Kearney helps lead SAS’ focus on the future of digital health across health care, life sciences, government research and development divisions. In previous positions at Duke Health, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Pfizer, he specialized in taking a practical approach to data and the patient journey. Throughout his career, Kearney has been a trusted advisor on health policy for state and federal agencies.

Alyssa Farrell

Director, Global Industry Marketing, SAS Health Care & Life Sciences, SAS

Alyssa Farrell leads industry marketing for the SAS Global Health and Life Sciences Practice. She focuses on the SAS solutions that help optimize health outcomes for individuals and their communities. She is actively engaged in analyst relations, market research and influencer marketing to stay on top of industry trends and align SAS capabilities with customer needs. Previously at SAS, she supported the energy and public sector global teams. Before joining SAS in 2004, Farrell was a senior consultant in the Deloitte Public Sector Practice.
