CECL: Are you ready for the new standard? (hosted by Banking 5-50)
Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) is an accounting standard that changes how financial institutions account for expected credit losses. The Banking 5-50 SAS® Users Group is excited to host Mike Riechers, Director of Advisory and Risk Analytics at financial planning firm KPMG.
Riechers will present KPMG’s perspective on CECL including:
- Transition considerations.
- Common practices.
- Challenges among US banks.
In June 2017, the company surveyed banks, insurers and specialty finance companies to assess progress toward – and insights from – CECL. Join the Banking 5-50 SAS Users Group and KPMG for this complimentary webinar.
