Moving Your Programs to the World of DS2
A DS2 threaded program uses multiple threads, each of which concurrently reads and transforms a portion of the data. The transformed data is then written to output.
This session will introduce you to the SAS® DS2 programming language and show how you can accomplish this. You’ll learn how to:
- Parallelize your data step processing.
- Work more closely a with third-party RDBMS with in-database processing and integrate with its data types.
- Convert your SAS programs to threads to parallel process in Base SAS.
- Use the SAS In-Database Code Accelerator for Hadoop, Teradata and Greenplum.
