DJ Penix, President and Founder, Pinnacle Solutions

DJ Penix is the President and founder of Pinnacle Solutions, an Indianapolis-based analytics and business intelligence solutions provider. Founded in 1996, Pinnacle Solutions has been building prominent analytics, reporting and data management solutions in industries such as manufacturing, pharmaceutical, health and life sciences, insurance, hospitality and entertainment, financial, retail, education and government.

In 2014, Penix led the company’s efforts to expand the business and to provide cloud-enabled solutions. A formalized partnership with Amazon Web Services augmented the longstanding partnership with SAS.

Today, he has expanded the business to offer a wide range of leading-edge cloud analytics services, including IoT analytics, forecasting, data mining, machine learning and deep learning. Penix graduated from Kalamazoo College with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science.

Dave Froning, Senior Manager, IIoT & Heavy Industry Solutions, SAS

David Froning’s team manages SAS solutions related to quality, warranty, asset performance, energy forecasting and the IoT. He works with manufacturers to develop solutions for industry issues such as fraud detection, early warning and accelerated problem solving. Prior to SAS, Froning managed the development, operation and continual improvement of quality and warranty information systems at General Motors.
