Jennifer Robinson

Global Strategic Advisor, Public Sector, SAS

While working to help governments maximize the use of their data through data integration, data management and analytics, Jennifer Robinson’s career in software development is complemented by the opportunity to serve as a local elected leader for the last 25 years. Robinson cowrote the book A Practical Guide to Analytics for Government and is featured in the book Smart Cities, Smart Future. In addition to writing articles and blogs about data-driven governing, she speaks with government leaders about emerging technologies and how to adopt them strategically.


Sean Mealin

Senior Product Manager, SAS

Sean Mealin leads strategy and roadmap development for machine learning algorithms, computer vision, deep learning and code generation on products. With a background as a software developer, he brings over 15 years of experience bridging technical R&D and customer-facing solutions. Mealin earned his PhD in computer science from North Carolina State University in 2021, where his dissertation focused on using machine learning to predict guide dog training success. His work has resulted in 22 peer-reviewed publications, two patents in accessible interface design and features in media outlets including ABC, VICE and PBS.

In his current role, Mealin translates complex AI and ML technologies into scalable, user-centric products, working closely with engineering, sales and customers to deliver real business impact.

Outside of work, Mealin is the proud owner of DeVito, a three-year-old black lab who is also his guide dog. When not at home in North Carolina, DeVito and Sean love exploring the world via cruise ship.
