Exploit big data to gain rapid, accurate insights
Read the SAS special report Big Data, Bigger Opportunities about organizations using high-performance analytics to fight fraud, identify disease outbreaks and lower credit risk. The result? Taxes are lower when governments reduce fraud expenses, communities are healthier when disease outbreaks are pinpointed and treated earlier, and economies are stronger when banks better understand risk.
"The CIO must be nimble and navigate not only the technology playing field, but the entire changing business enterprise," said Kathleen Tetrault, the 2013 MIT Sloan CIO Symposium Chair. "Our speakers provide direction on embracing change caused by economic, social, political, environmental and technological forces, to lead organizations in an increasingly adaptive and upward path."
Nearly 700 CIOs and senior IT executives will attend the 2013 MIT Sloan CIO Symposium Wednesday, May 22, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at MIT’s Kresge Auditorium, 77 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, MA.
