This complimentary webinar is hosted by the Insurance and Finance SAS Users Group (IFSUG).

Let’s face it: Statistics can sometimes be dry. But explaining concepts doesn’t have to feel like trudging through a desert. We’ll be your oasis as we walk you through logistic regressions, with the help of some entertaining cartoons along the way.

This session, led by SAS® user Russ Lavery, will cover:

  • Why odds are not probabilities or percentages.
  • Use of 1 / (1 + exp(-x)).
  • Complete and partial separation.
  • Use of the logit.
  • Beta values and the percent curve.
  • Oversampling.
  • The ROC curve.
  • The C statistic.

Russ will cover all this and more with the help of graphics that help explain some more complex and challenging topics.
