Field Guide to Becoming a SAS® Administrator in a Grid Environment
In a SAS Grid Computing environment, workloads are distributed across a grid of computers, which enables workload balancing, accelerated processing and job scheduling.

This section introduces the tasks a SAS administrator should be familiar with to make sure the environment runs smoothly. We’ll talk about grid architecture, LSF, how to administer users and groups, and the products that take advantage of a SAS grid.

Grid Module Plug-In for SAS® Environment Manager
When working in a SAS Grid Computing environment, tasks such as running and scheduling jobs or monitoring the environment are all under the control of SAS Grid Manager.

In this section, we will talk about the SAS Grid Manager module in SAS Environment Manager, a new SAS administration tool in SAS 9.4.

SAS® Users and the Grid
In this section, we’ll take a look at ways your users can submit code to the grid, how to run jobs interactively using SASGSUB and how to convert existing SAS programs to run on the grid.
