At SAS Global Forum 2016, take advantage of dozens of workshops, presentations, demos and networking opportunities that will broaden your skills and sharpen your focus. Exchange ideas with experts and peers. Explore new ways of using SAS. Dive into topics that excite and interest you.
After all, this is your event – a conference designed by SAS users, for SAS users.
The annual conference is planned and sponsored by the SAS Global Users Group, which is open to all SAS software users throughout the world.
SAS Global Forum brings together the best and brightest SAS users and experts, just as it has since 1976.
Make plans to join us at The Venetian in Las Vegas April 18-21, 2016.
As SAS users, what we do each and every day is create structure in the midst of chaos. Data is chaotic, and yet there is an underlying structure that needs to be discovered or put in place in order to unravel the chaos. Regardless of whether we are data managers, programmers, analysts, decision makers or a mixture of these, we use our imagination, creativity and innovation – enabled by SAS – to solve problems.
When attending SAS Global Forum, my goal is to find at least one creative solution that makes some aspect of what I do easier. It may be a data manipulation method, a new option in a statistical procedure that provides the estimates needed or allows a model to converge, a piece of SAS code that calculates something that I have been doing by hand, or an option that makes a graph prettier. Whatever it is, I know I will leave the conference with something that will benefit my work.
Throughout the last 40 years of SAS Global Forum and SAS users group meetings, SAS users have presented truly elegant solutions for problems they have encountered – and the 2016 gathering promises that and more. A wealth of presentations, including Table Talks, Ask the Experts, Hands-On Workshops, e-posters, oral presentations and demos, offers something for SAS users of all levels.
An exciting new initiative is our SAS Student Symposium, with presentations by student teams on the implementation of a creative solution to real-world data. Whether you’re a student, junior professional, or new or experienced SAS user, you will be able to create a conference experience that is relevant to your needs.
Presenters, attendees, content advisory and delivery teams, SAS partners and the SAS Global Forum Executive Board all help to make each conference a success. I invite you to share your knowledge and discover how others are imagining, creating and innovating using SAS. Join us April 18-21, 2016, at The Venetian in Las Vegas. I look forward to seeing you there!
