Please join us for a tour of the beautiful countryside of the Konavle region in southern Croatia. Between the sea and mountains, Konavle is known for its unique, picturesque landscape. Croatia’s southernmost region is rich with a thousand years of history, magical blue-green landscapes, sun-bleached mountains and fertile valleys famous for their olive oil, fruit and organic farm products.
Our first stop of the tour is a visit to an historic, authentic water mill and a reconstructed fulling mill. Here, the group will sample a variety of typical liquors, figs and almonds. The next stop is the Brajkovic winery, where you will taste local wines, learn about the region’s traditional winemaking, and sample a dessert unique to the Konavle region, Mantala cake.
Our final stop will be lunch at Restaurant Leut in the beautiful seaside town of Cavtat. Afterward, you’ll have some time to explore on your own or take a brief guided tour before the group returns to the hotel.
