How much does the event cost?

There is no cost associated with this event.

When does the event start?

The event begins Sept. 7 and concludes Sept. 11. A lot of the content is pre-recorded and will be available to access at your convenience. The sessions that are live will be noted in the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) when you register and log in. If you miss a live session, you can easily access the recording. You will have access to the VLE and SAS Programmer Week content until Oct. 12, 2020.

How do I know which track to follow?

Users can self-identify their experience level and interests to determine which track they want to follow. You’ll have the option to attend different sessions in different tracks as well.

How much time will this take me?

However much you’d like to spend. We’ve set this up with a variety of content types, including YouTube and video tutorials, webinars, blogs and documentation. Therefore, some days you could spend 15 minutes and other days a few hours. SAS Programmer Week is meant to provide you with flexibility. We know you’re busy and may not have all day, every day of the week away from your day job. You can access the material when you want to learn a specific skill related to the day’s topic and watch snippets or consume all the material available. You will have access to the VLE and SAS Programmer Week content until Oct. 12, 2020.

Does each agenda correspond to a different certification?

Each track will have the relevant certification prep resources made available on Friday, Sept. 11.

Will I get a certification voucher?

No, there isn’t a certification voucher within the event. We will provide exam prep resources that enable you to prepare for the certification exam. We also offer practice exams outside of this event.

Will I receive a completion certificate?

This event is made up of different training and learning resources, and is not a weeklong standardized training course.

What are the system requirements?

The event is hosted in our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) – much like other e-learning courses. You’ll need to create a SAS profile to log in and access the training resources.
