Procurement Integrity:
An Essential Business Process Facing a Silent Threat

A complimentary live event from SAS
Thursday, June 20 | New York City

Resolve prevailing weaknesses in fraud detection through hybrid analytics.

The procurement process continues to be wrought with fraud, waste and abuse. Many organizations still take a traditional, reactive approach to procurement fraud – discovering fraud only after the financial and reputational damage has been done.

Considering the sheer number of people, transactions and data involved in procurement, internal controls and policies are not enough. Organizations need a second line of defense.

Join us to learn how SAS’ modular approach to procurement integrity uses automation and deep analytics to create a proactive and preventative process. Discover how to gain better situational awareness and efficiencies in the investigative steps by bringing together data from disparate sources; preventing and mitigating losses before payment happens; and getting continuous monitoring.

Fraud expert Chris McAuley will discuss:

  • Typical procurement challenges with waste, abuse and collusion in asset-intensive industries.
  • Capabilities needed to take control of the procurement monitoring process.
  • SAS’ global experience in applying best practices and technologies to procurement, including a large oil industry business case.
