Michael Fauscette leads IDC’s Software Business Solutions Group. The group encompasses research and consulting in enterprise software applications, including ERP, SCM, CRM, PLM, collaboration and social applications, software partner and alliance ecosystems, open source software, software vendor business models, SaaS and cloud computing, and software pricing and licensing. He also provides thought leadership in the area of social applications and the transition to the social business.

With extensive executive experience with software vendors ranging from large enterprise companies to small Silicon Valley startups, Fauscette brings a unique perspective by relating research data and trends to the overall strategic focus and go-to-market strategy of application software companies.

Russ Cobb, Vice President, Worldwide Alliances and Channels, SAS.
Russ Cobb leads the global organizations responsible for strategic business alliances, marketing strategy and product marketing. At SAS, he has held numerous other leadership roles related to partner management, new business development, and strategic marketing and planning. Cobb joined SAS following a career in the management consulting profession, where he specialized in corporate and business unit strategy development for multinational clients in a variety of industries. He earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and his BS in industrial engineering from North Carolina State University.


Jim Davis, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, SAS
As Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Jim Davis provides strategic direction for SAS products, solutions and services and presenting the SAS brand worldwide. He helped transform SAS from a tools provider to a software solutions provider. A respected thought leader, Davis co-authored the book Information Revolution: Using the Information Evolution Model to Grow Your Business. Since joining SAS in 1994, Davis has pioneered many key initiatives, including global projects that incorporate customer feedback in the development process. Today, he continues to refine the model for continuous collaboration and innovation, enabling SAS to meet the global demand for business analytics.

Carl Farrell

Carl Farrell, Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, SAS
Carl Farrell leads SAS teams across more than 60 countries in the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He’s charged with driving consistent revenue growth for SAS, and ensuring that customers get significant value from SAS products and services. He is the chief architect behind the long-term vision and operational strategy of these regions to ensure that growth and market potential are achieved. Farrell joined SAS in 2002 as President of SAS Canada and Latin America, rising to Executive VP of the Americas in 2008 and his current role in 2015.

Guard Randy

Randy Guard, Vice President of Sales Development and Product Management, SAS
Randy Guard leads the product strategy and business development efforts for the SAS Business Analytics Framework. Guard and his product management teams work closely with SAS’ R&D organization to define and manage product road maps, based on market needs and customer input. Guard and his global practice teams drive revenue growth by delivering market-driven offerings and supporting strategic customer engagements.


Fritz Lehman

Fritz Lehman, Senior Vice President, Customer Engagement and Support Division, SAS
Throughout his more than 30 years with SAS, Fritz Lehman has always had a passion for taking care of the customer. That passion emanates from his first role as a Technical Support Representative where he worked daily to solve customer challenges. From there he moved into management roles in Education, Research & Development and Consulting.

In his current role, Lehman provides strategic direction to the Customer Loyalty, Education and Training, Professional Services, Publications, and Technical Support organizations. The global division he leads is dedicated to achieving one objective: customer satisfaction through a seamless support experience.

Nick Lisi

Nick Lisi, Vice President, Worldwide Sales Operations, SAS
From compensation strategy and organizational planning to global alignment with go-to-market strategies, Nick Lisi is involved in the day-to-day operations of SAS Canada, Latin America, US Sales, Europe, Middle East and Africa. In 2009, he led the creation of a volume sales channel in the US to accelerate sales and renewal revenue growth. Since its inception, US Inside Sales has generated over $100 million in new revenue and established relationships with more than 2,000 new customers. In 2010, Lisi led the development of the US Customer Loyalty and Retention organization, which helps ensure SAS meets its customers’ needs, and that customers receive the most value from their SAS investment.

Armistead Sapp, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, SAS
Armistead Sapp is the head of SAS’ R&D division, marshalling the talents of SAS employees around the world to produce the highest quality software for business intelligence, advanced analytics, customer intelligence, industry solutions, mobile applications and more. His aim as CTO is to instill in SAS’ development teams dedication to taking full advantage of modern computing platforms and delivering value to customers. Prior to his current role, Sapp held a variety of leadership roles in product management, product marketing, and database marketing.

Matthew Sayre

Matthew Sayre, Vice President of US Professional Services, SAS
Sayre provides strategic direction for both the US Delivery and Global Enablement teams and leads a staff of more than 450 customer-driven consulting professionals who strive to ensure the success of every SAS customer. Throughout his career, Sayre has been driven by transformational leadership, the foundation that stems from his experience of serving as a US Army infantry officer. During his tenure at SAS, Sayre has held leadership positions within the US Financial Services Professional Services and Delivery Business Unit.


Scott Chastain

Scott Chastain, Senior Manager, Pre-Sales Support, SAS
As a leader in the Global Technology Practice, Scott Chastain helps the SAS Global Sales and Technical groups address enterprise initiatives through the application of architecture, strategy and implementation of SAS Business Analytics. Chastain leads several teams that focus on four core areas: Hadoop, data management, business visualization and decision science. He has helped some of the most recognized organizations globally address an array of challenges ranging from structured real-time data integration and analytics to highly unstructured data and operational systems automation.

Heath Clayton

Heath Clayton, Principal Business Development Specialist for Worldwide Alliances and Channels, SAS
Heath Clayton is the Global Lead for the SAS Managed Analytic Services Provider program, which is part of SAS Channels strategy. He focuses on building repeatable, partner-centric solutions with global system integrators based on SAS solutions stacks that allow partners to create and deliver cloud-based analytic services based on a pay-as-you-go model. The MASP program has been adopted by the largest global system integrators in order to bring new initiatives to market quickly with SAS.

Russ Davis

Russ Davis, Director, Channel Sales, SAS
In a new role at SAS, Russ Davis defines, builds and manages OEM, reseller and managed service providers. With more than 30 years’ experience, Davis has held multiple Vice President of Channel and Vice President of Sales roles. He has managed partners such as IBM, Oracle, Cisco, HP, Accenture and others. He has also run multiple channel programs in several different companies. Davis holds a CA-AM certification from the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP). He has been instrumental in a partnering business at SAS that won multiple awards from ASAP. In his first two years at SAS, he grew the partner revenue with HP 575 percent.

Lisa Horwitz, Partner Enablement Manager, Worldwide Alliances and Channels, SAS
Lisa Horwitz executes enablement programs for SAS partners and has helped to develop the enablement aspects of the SAS Partner Program. She has been at SAS for more than 30 years. Prior to her current role in GAC, she was an Instructor in the Education Division, a Technical Manager in Sales, and an Advisory Technical Architect in the Customer Loyalty organization. She was the author of a monthly SAS Talks blog and is a frequent presenter at local and regional SAS users group conferences and at SAS Global Forum.

Mitzi Krellwitz

Mitzi Krellwitz, Director of Worldwide Partner Marketing, SAS
Mitzi Krellwitz leads Partner Marketing efforts for SAS globally. The Partner Marketing organization works closely with alliance professionals to drive strategic planning and go-to-market approaches for promotion, pricing and distribution of all SAS and partner offerings across industries. Krellwitz and her Global Partner Marketing team facilitate internal awareness of SAS partner alliances, such as joint initiatives and wins, so that sales account teams understand how to partner and replicate wins within their accounts. Krellwitz and her team also drive external awareness of joint business values with partners, and promote thought leadership of partner executive speakers.

Cindy Mann

Cindy Mann, Senior Manager of Partner Program Operations, Worldwide Alliances and Channels, SAS
Mann is responsible for the global operational systems, processes and policies that support the organization’s mission, including financial management and reporting. She leads a team of professionals whose focus is on the execution and governance of the processes, policies and systems that support the global alliance program.

Jack May

Jack May, Director of Worldwide Enablement and Learning, SAS
May leads global enablement teams focused on architecture, deployment, administration, data management, visualization, analytics and project management. The mission of these teams is to enable SAS technologists and project managers worldwide – through technical events and content – to implement and support SAS as sharply as possible, increasing customer satisfaction and project success.

Donna Peek

Donna Peek, Director, Worldwide Partner Enablement and Operations, SAS
Donna Peek is responsible for leading efforts to establish SAS as a partner of choice for analytics. She leads teams that execute enablement programs for SAS partners, drives the SAS Partner programs and supports overall partner operations. She has been with SAS for 12 years, managing alliances and alliance teams. Peek has more than 32 years of experience in the high-tech industry, including 12 years at IBM. She is Vice Chair of the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals (ASAP), and is an ASAP Certified Strategic Alliance Professional. She has been a frequent speaker on alliance strategy and execution.

Jamie Thompson

Jamie Thompson, Senior Director of Solutions Consulting
Jamie Thompson is the head of SAS’ US Professional Services Solutions organization. He leads delivery and select global enablement teams responsible for the deployment of analytically-driven strategies and solutions for large and start-up companies. He brings over 20 years of enterprise software consulting experience across multiple industries and geographic regions to this role. Thompson has guided multiple clients on the architecture, strategy and processes associated with SAS Solutions. Prior to joining SAS, he held several roles managing partner relationship management systems and designing operational and business support systems.

Scott VanValkenburgh

Scott VanValkenburgh, Senior Director of Alliance Management, SAS
With more than 800 partners in the portfolio, VanValkenburgh leads the organization that is responsible for SAS' global partner relationships. His teams are responsible for SAS partner go-to-market strategies and execution. Prior to joining SAS, VanValkenburgh was the founder and managing partner of The Sequoia Architecture Group LLC and served as a Principal for PricewaterhouseCoopers within the Management Consulting Services Information and Technology Practice.
