Public Health Statement

Updated October 2022

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, SAS has issued guidance based on the following principles:

  • Prioritize our employees’ health and well-being.
  • Follow the guidelines and recommendations from government and public health officials who rely on data for decision-making.
  • Lead responsibly and compassionately, knowing that other companies often follow the example of large employers in the region.

These principles also guide our approach to public health more broadly. Our goal will always be to protect employees, employees’ families, customers, others who spend time in our facilities, and the broader community as we all do our part to navigate and survive worldwide pandemics.

SAS remains committed to protecting the health and well-being of our employees, customers, and community and to leading responsibly. To that end, we encourage all employees to get vaccinated and boosted against all communicable diseases, including the flu and COVID-19. These vaccinations have been proven to be one of the best steps we can take to keep one another, our customers, and our partners safe.

We will continue to monitor and to comply with all federal, state, and local laws, and we will follow the guidance provided by public health authorities.
