Throughout his more than 30 years with SAS, Fritz Lehman has been passionate about taking care of the customer. As Chief Customer Officer, he leads a division of more than 2,000 employees dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction and providing seamless customer support.
"We know that without our customers, we wouldn’t be here," said Lehman. "We understand that our reputation is only as good as our customers’ last experience."
In his previous role as Senior Vice President of the Customer Engagement and Support Division, Lehman provided strategic direction to the Education, Professional Services, Publications, Technical Support and Customer Loyalty organizations. His collaboration with other SAS divisional executives ensures alignment among his teams, Sales, Marketing, Alliances and R&D. Whether he was working as a technical support representative or managing the groups responsible for solving customer challenges, Lehman's career has always focused on keeping the customer front and center.
Lehman graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in education. A devoted philanthropist, he is on the board of directors for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. Under his leadership, the Customer Engagement and Support Division has become the third-largest contributor of volunteer hours to the Food Bank. He also supports local community organizations such as Dress for Success and is a member of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce.
