Coronavirus Tracking

The outbreak of a new coronavirus (COVID-19) has created a global crisis, infecting thousands and spreading to more than 30 countries in just two months. Data visualization can be used to track the spread of the virus, understand trends and assess its impact, providing insights that could help raise awareness and assist in prevention efforts.

This SAS Visual Analytics interactive report depicts the status, locations, spread and trend analysis of the novel coronavirus using data from WHO, CDC, ECDC, NHC and DXY compiled by JHU CSSE. The underlying data is updated frequently, so check back regularly to:

  • Find out the number of new coronavirus cases reported in the last 10 days, and see how infection, recovery and fatality rates are trending.
  • Discover where the virus has migrated, and compare the epicenter, China, with the rest of the world.
  • Analyze confirmed cases to understand how the recovery rate is changing over time.
