As the practice Lead for Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics at SAS, Aneshan adds value to customers by providing thought leadership on the business value of machine learning and predictive models. This includes showcasing SAS's analytical suite of offerings through client engagements, POC's, writing analytical blogs, demos and speaking at analytics events. He is passionate about telling stories with data and the process of which raw data can be transformed into intelligence. He is excited about the industry wide applications that artificial intelligence and machine learning brings to organizations.
Prior to SAS, Aneshan was the Head of Analytics at Genesis Analytics responsible for providing advanced analytical support and solutions to clients across financial services. He also worked for Direct Axis as a Portfolio Manager/Credit Risk Specialist and was responsible for the credit portfolio risk management of unsecured personal loan portfolios within the organisation. His expertise extended to developing, validation and monitoring of credit scoring models, portfolio risk management, profitability and optimisation, reviewing credit appetite and risk strategy, risk based pricing as well as analytic support for various types of credit risk modelling.
