This research intends to predict the currency exchange rate of US Dollars and Philippine Peso using search terms from Google Trends. This study seeks to identify significant search terms that can be used to predict the currency exchange rate of USD to PHP. This also aims to automate the model building and evaluation of daily and monthly exchange rates by continuously adding new date as soon as new search terms become available.

Research Title:
Saving Lives, Changing Lives using SAS Predictive Analytics

This study aims to demonstrate the application of SAS software to forecast patient demand in emergency rooms and patient visits in health care facilities that will serve as an honest assessment if there is an adequate supply of health professionals and clinical resources to meet the future demand of the population. The study also aims to develop general models and disease specific models that will ensure that patients with different levels of illness burden will have the proper access to care, and investigate specific patient attributes and uncover significant patterns to improve patient outcomes.

The 2014 Conference was attended by more than 500 delegates from the SAS Academic Partners.
