SAS Academy for Data Science (the "Academy")

Requirements:

The Academy is broken out into three levels – Level 1: Big Data Professional, Level 2: Advanced Analytics Professional, and Level 3: Data Scientist (comprised of Levels 1 and 2).
Full payment is required before your seat in the Academy is confirmed. Payment options and discounts are explained below.
In order to receive a certificate of completion for either Level of the Academy, you cannot miss more than three days of class within that particular Level.
If you must miss class, you will need to review the content covered on that day. Each course will be recorded and made available to you on a Virtual Learning Environment.

Payment

The SAS Academy for Data Science is comprised of three programs – Big Data Professional (Level 1), Advanced Analytics (Level 2), and Data Scientist (Levels 1 and 2). Levels 1 and 2 cost $13,000. Purchase the complete program, Data Scientist, for $16,000.

Your seat in the Academy is not confirmed until payment is received in full.

Accepted forms of payment include

authorized credit card
valid purchase order from your organization
SAS Enterprise Training Agreement credits
payment plans (available upon request).

Partner Points and Grant Accounts are not acceptable forms of payment.

Discounts

The following discounts are available but cannot be combined.

Early Bird discount: Save 10% when you register and pre-pay 4 weeks in advance of the Academy start date. Promo Code: EB10
Group discount: Save 10% when two or more individuals from the same organization register and pre-pay for the same Academy event together. Promo Code: EQD
SAS Enterprise Training Agreement credits: SAS Enterprise Training Agreement credits that can be purchased and used to pay for the Academy.
Academic discount: Educators, students (part time or full time), and staff directly employed by or enrolled in a K-12 or degree-granting academic institution or school district are eligible for a 50% discount off the price of the Academy. Proof of affiliation is required (e.g. valid identification card, a letter from Human Resources on institution letterhead, or a copy of your transcript from the current semester). Promo Code: A50

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend the Academy, please inform SAS as soon as possible.
Fees are fully refundable if notification is received by mail, e-mail, or phone at least 10 business days prior to the scheduled start date of an event.
Cancellations received 9 business days or less prior to the scheduled start date of the Academy will be charged a $3,000 cancellation fee.

Substitutions and Transfers

Substitutions (name changes) are accepted at any time prior to the start date of the first course within the SAS Academy for Data Science.

Transfers to another course/Academy date are not accepted.

SAS reserves the right to cancel the dates of an Academy in its sole discretion. If an Academy is cancelled for any reason, SAS will return prepaid registration fees. SAS is not responsible for airline penalties or other travel or living expenses related to the cancellation of the Academy. Please be aware of the airline restrictions regarding nonrefundable airline tickets when purchasing an airline ticket.
