No. 2 on the Great Place to Work Institute's global list, SAS' work environment fuels innovation, great software
Business analytics leader SAS remains on the Top 25 World's Best Multinational Workplaces list from Great Place to Work, claiming the No. 2 spot. It's the third year SAS has been on the list, underscoring the company's continued focus on creating a global work environment that inspires and energizes employees.
"Being on this list validates the hard work and effort SAS employees put into their jobs every day," said SAS CEO Jim Goodnight. "We have a work environment that allows people to do their best without unnecessary distractions so that they can be more creative and productive. It's one way we ensure we are delivering innovative software solutions to our customers. SAS employees are inspired by the global impact of our products and the importance of their contributions, no matter what role they play or where they are located."
Last year, SAS ranked No. 1 on the World's Best Multinational Workplaces list and No. 2 on the U.S. list. So far in 2013, three SAS offices in Greece, the Netherlands and Switzerland have been ranked No. 1. You can have great insights about software design come to you at any moment thanks to our work environment. We've got the necessary tools, the right people and the support to focus on solving problems – all while being surrounded by artwork and scenery that energize and inspire us."
To be eligible, companies must appear on five or more national Great Place to Work lists in the past year and have more than 5,000 employees worldwide, with at least 40 percent working outside the company's home country.
