SAS® New Zealand names Campbell Johns as Sales Manager

Campbell Johns has been appointed Sales Manager of SAS Institute New Zealand, based at the company’s Wellington headquarters and reporting to General Manager Geoff Beynon.

SAS’ Auckland and Wellington sales teams report to Johns with immediate effect. SAS is the leader in business analytics software and services, and the largest independent vendor in the business intelligence market.

Campbell Johns has been with SAS New Zealand since 2008 and previously headed the Professional Services team.

Announcing the new sales appointment, Beynon said it addressed SAS New Zealand’s continuing strong growth, particularly in the energy, utilities and public sectors, and with increasing demand for the SAS Visual Analytics solution across all markets.

Beynon added, “Given our close integration of services and sales, Campbell has always been across our sales activities and is known to most of our customers. His past strong leadership within our business will ensure a smooth transition to direct sales management.

Before joining SAS, Campbell Johns held technical and management consulting roles with IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
