Hack yourself a trip to Florida

In about two weeks, SAS Forum Belux will take place. In addition to presentations from inspiring speakers and business cases from a.o. Shell, Barco, Colruyt, ENI, Ethias and  DirectPay, we also offer you a mini hackathon. Award: SAS pays your registration fee for SAS Global Forum in Florida.

During the hackathon a maximum of 50 participants can work on a specific issue about customer segmentation. Thanks to our sponsor Amsio, they will get access to a workstation with SAS® Visual Analytics, SAS® Visual Statistics and (anonymous) visitor data collected from the SAS.com website. They will see who has downloaded a white paper, which other pages have been viewed and on which products the visitors clicked. Participants have to give advice about what products SAS should launch campaigns for. The one who shares the most creative insights will be rewarded with a trip to SAS Global Forum. 

Experience the software 

"The aim of the hackathon is to let people experience our software instead of just us telling them about it," said Mark Bakker, pre-sales consultant at SAS and supervisor of the hackathon. "SAS Forum visitors who are not yet familiar with our software can participate as well. We have prepared a special script for them and they will get a short instruction too. With the help of data exploration and data discovery they will be able to interactively explore the data." 

Participate! 

The hackathon will take place on 13 October between 11.40 and 13.10 in the “Boost your analytical experience” stream. Participation is based on first-come, first-served. The winner of the hackathon will be announced after the Forum.
