Live Webinar

SAS Grid for End Users

October 30th • 1:30 p.m. GMT • Duration: 1 hour

About the webinar

This session covers the SAS 9.4 grid.  It's designed for anyone who wants to understand what a grid is. It’s also for anyone moving from a SAS 9.3 or earlier grid.

Some knowledge of SAS code is useful but not essential.

What you'll learn:

  • A high-level view of the key components of a SAS grid and how they fit together
  • What's new in SAS grid 9.4 (compared to SAS 9.3 and earlier).
  • How to run on the grid using Base SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide 7/8 or SAS Studio 3.x
  • Assessing code readiness for migration to grid
  • How jobs are managed and prioritised on the grid using queues
  • High availability on a grid
  • How to request a particular queue for your work (and why you might not get it)
  • How to create jobs that run massively in parallel to reduce runtimes

If this time and date doesn't work for you, register now and we will send you a link to watch the broadcast on-demand whenever suits you.
