Christer Bodell believes that the effective use of analytics requires first and foremost a mindset, which he defines as willingness to think innovatively and accept alternatives. This willingness, he suggests, is essential to enable clients to lay out a path towards readiness, and therefore achieve results.
Christer has worked for SAS for almost 15 years, joining in 2004 as a technical account manager. He has worked in several roles within SAS providing consultancy services, mostly to manufacturing clients. His current role involves initiating and engaging in progressive discussions around analytics, across a wide range of subjects and industry areas, from IoT to sport.
Sport, he suggests, contributes to society in several ways, not least by offering valuable insights into the relationship between performance and results. Christer thrives on understanding why, mapping out how and defining what it takes to succeed in particular areas, whether business or sport.
