The goal of this webinar is to show SAS users how they can move their workloads to the cloud in a scalable, governed and repeatable way by running SAS on the Domino data science platform.

Ilhami Gorgun, UBS’ director of Risk Technology, will talk through his first-hand experience building a portfolio of finance and risk modeling solutions within UBS. He will discuss processes across the data science management lifecycle, from model development to validation and measuring business impact, and how his team at UBS has chosen technologies that can facilitate those processes. 

Domino serves as the backbone of UBS’ data science platform, underpinning SAS Viya as part of their integrated development environment alongside open source technologies. Ilhami will share:  

• UBS’ journey leveraging SAS technologies for risk modeling and programming
• Selecting and implementing Domino as the underlying platform
• Integrating SAS with Domino
• Establishing connectivity to various data sources
• How all of this fits into UBS’ digital transformation effort to migrate to the cloud
