Agenda
4pm – 4:15pm: Welcome
4:15pm – 4:45pm: Presentation 1: Macro Quoting - Peter Hobart
Rather than macro quoting meaning putting single and double quotation marks in or around SAS tokens, this session discusses how macro quoting instead uses unprintable delta characters to replace special characters and mnemonic. For example, AND might become DQG to remove the special meaning of the word AND in its operator form.
4:45pm – 5pm: Break
5pm – 5:30pm: Presentation2: SAS 9 Add-in for Microsoft Office – Megan Burns
It’s common practice for analysts to transform data within SAS and then output the results to Excel or PowerPoint for reporting; most of the time this is done from within the SAS interface. But, have you tried the SAS Add-in for Microsoft Office? During this presentation we’ll showcase the functionality provided by the add-in – in case (like me) you’ve not had chance to investigate.
5:30pm – 7pm: Networking and Game
We finish the day with some networking over Pizza and drinks! Connect with like-minded professionals, share experiences, and expand your network.
Our SAS Scalextric game will also be in attendance if you fancy entering the very informal 10 lap competition.
Attendance is free but limited. Secure your spot now to ensure you don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to elevate your software proficiency.
