Mark Wilkinson
Managing Director, SAS UK & Ireland

Mark Wilkinson joined as Managing Director SAS UK & Ireland in April 2012. Mark is responsible for the entire UK and Ireland operations and reports to Mikael Hagstrom, Executive Vice President APAC and EMEA, who is based at SAS headquarters in Cary, North Carolina, US.

Mark is dedicated to ensuring that businesses are able to make sense of the big data they hold using the transformative power of high-performance analytics.

Before joining SAS, Mark spent five years at Oracle, latterly as Vice-President-Applications for the UK. Prior to this appointment, he was responsible for Enterprise Performance Management and Business Intelligence businesses in Oracle UK and MEA regions. Before joining Oracle, Mark spent seven years in various senior management roles at Hyperion. He has also held a number of senior management positions in the leasing and telecommunications industries.


Jim Goodnight, CEO, SAS

Since he co-founded SAS in 1976, Jim Goodnight has served as the company's Chief Executive Officer. A worldwide leader in enterprise intelligence solutions and services, SAS has more than 11,000 employees in 53 countries. In 2010, the company's 35th consecutive year of growth and profitability, its revenue was $2.43 billion.

In 2004, Harvard Business School named Goodnight as one of the "20th Century's Great American Business Leaders," citing his impact on "the way people have lived, worked and interacted in the 20th century."

Goodnight has a PhD in statistics and speaks internationally on leadership, education and innovation.


Jim Davis
Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, SAS

As Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Jim Davis provides worldwide marketing direction for SAS solutions and services. He is responsible for managing product direction, professional services, education, advertising and communications.

A respected thought leader, Davis co-authored the book Information Revolution: Using the Information Evolution Model to Grow Your Business.

Since joining SAS in 1994, Davis has pioneered many key initiatives, including global projects that incorporate customer feedback in the development process. Today, he continues to refine the model for continuous collaboration and innovation among engineers, marketers and customers, enabling SAS to meet the global demand for enterprise intelligence.


Mikael Hagstrom Mikeal Hagstrom
Executive Vice President for EMEA, SAS

As head of an expanding global team of more than 4,000 professionals in over 50 countries, Mikael Hagstrom is passionate about providing a culture where innovation can flourish, resulting in market leadership for the organisation and its customers.

Hagstrom holds the elected position of Chair of the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union (AmCham EU) Executive Council and is a member of the board of directors of the Atlantic Council, a member of the Executive Committee that functions as the United States Council for International Business (USCIB)'s board of directors, and a frequent speaker on the multinational business climate at the World Economic Forum and OECD in particular. He is a board member, head officer or chairman of more than 30 SAS subsidiaries and currently works from SAS world headquarters in Cary, North Carolina.
