That Macro Talk

About the webinar

SAS macro coding is a very powerful tool, which is often either used in the wrong situations or overused.

This talk presents good use of macro coding to parametrize SAS code, make them easier to maintain, and less prone to human errors.

It covers the basics, but even the experienced macro users might find a trick or two in this presentation.

About the Expert

Mathieu Gaouette

Mathieu is a freelance SAS specialist and a well-known member of the SAS community.  He presented in all but one Canadian user groups and four times at SAS Global Forum.  He has been invited to speak again this year in Washington.  He’s a long time SAS user and administrator that likes to share his knowledge and experience with others.

Currently ranked 9 on the Friends of SAS leaderboard, Mathieu doesn't keep his implication there, he has been in the executive of the Montreal SAS usergroup for more than 15 years (currently vice president of the group).  He is a strong supporter of other usergroups as well.  He presented in all but one of the Canadian usergroups and has openly invited people to present in their local user groups.  Mathieu is generous when it comes to sharing knowledge and that makes him a model SAS user and mentor.
