Sylvain Tremblay was born in Outaouais but grew up in Gaspésie, Saguenay and the South Shore of Montreal, Quebec. After earning a degree in statistics from the University of Montreal, Sylvain worked in the market research field in the advertising world. He then joined SAS Canada more than 21 years ago in a pre-sales role where he specialized in data mining and analytical solutions. For the past 15 years, he has been an instructor in the Education group at SAS, teaching programming, statistics, data mining and business intelligence courses to diverse organizations from coast to coast.
