SAS France still on Great Place to Work® charts in France
For 11th edition of French survey, SAS ranks 11th among companies with fewer than 500 employees.
The French subsidiary of SAS, the leader in business analytics solutions, has again earned the "Best Workplaces France" label. The company moved up to 11th position among 36 companies with fewer than 500 employees on the prestigious 2013 list from the Great Place to Work® Institute.
This Great Place to Work list aims to celebrate and recognize companies that hold employee well-being as a primary concern.
Among its accomplishments in 2012, SAS France provided its employees the second largest private nursery in Seine et Marne, held employee turnover below 6 percent, and expanded a program for telecommuting and working remotely. Today, nearly 10 percent of SAS employees regularlly telecommute from home one or two days per week; half of the staff works occasionally from home or branch offices – up to one or two days per week – when it is more convenient.
Among of SAS France's major initiatives in 2012, the company created an annual event called Family Day. With the offices located on a uniquely beautiful 25-hectare (61-acre) site – castle Grégy-sur-Yerres in Seine-et-Marne – employees were thrilled to see the grounds open to their families for an afternoon of relaxation.
It was an opportunity for nearly 250 people to discover local SAS France and participate in a wide range of activities.

The 2013 ranking for SAS France spotlights the subsidiary of a multinational recognized worldwide for its concern over employee well-being. This is also the fourth consecutive year SAS France has been awarded the "Top Employer" label by the CRF Institute.
In the U.S., SAS has has been prominent on Great Place to Work charts since the survey was launched in 1998. The company also extended its recognition in 2013 through the business magazine Fortune, which has listed SAS among the top three "Best Companies to Work for" in the United States for the fourth consecutive year. In 2013, SAS is was second, just behind Google.

In 2012, no less than 158 companies applied for the Great Place to Work Awards in France, including 66 companies in the category of more than 500 employees and 92 under 500. SAS France is part of the second category, with 36 other companies.
