As Strategy Executive, Analytic Ecosystems for SAS Canada Steve Holder is responsible for creating and driving SAS solution strategy in the market.  A key part of this is providing thought leadership for the SAS Analytics, Big Data and Cloud portfolios.  A Canadian analytics evangelist Steve has seen first-hand how the use of analytics and data can help customers solve business problems; make the best decisions possible and unearth new opportunities.   Steve’s passion is making technology make sense for everyone regardless of their technical skillset.

Dr. Lorne Rothman
Senior Data Scientist, SAS Canada

Dr. Lorne Rothman is Senior Data Scientist with SAS Canada, specializing in Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, Data & Text Mining, and Classical Statistics. He has worked with a variety of private and public sector organizations across North America since 1998. He holds Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees from the University of Toronto and a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of British Columbia, and is an accredited Professional Statistician (P.Stat.) with the Statistical Society of Canada.

David Comeau
Solution Specialist, SAS Canada 

David Comeau move to Ottawa from the Maritimes after studying engineering to enroll in computer science. The technology boom of the mid 90’s allowed him to capitalizing on his passion and jumpstart his career with Corel Corporation before landing a job at Cognos Inc. He spent the next 15 years managing developers, training clients on Business Intelligence tools and finally consulting before leaving (IBM). Having spent the bulk of his of his career working with federal government departments he's applied his knowledge from small migrations to large deployments and has been a trusted voice. Since joining SAS nearly five years ago he's developed his analytics skills to compliment his BI and Data Management expertise. Now as solutions architect he guides federal departments to better understand the role of predictive analytics.
