As Strategy Lead for SAS Canada Steve Holder is responsible for creating and driving SAS solution strategy in the market.  A key part of this is providing thought leadership for the SAS Analytics, Big Data and Cloud portfolios.  A Canadian analytics evangelist Steve has seen first-hand how the use of analytics and data can help customers solve business problems; make the best decisions possible and unearth new opportunities.   Steve’s passion is making technology make sense for everyone regardless of their technical skillset.

Travis Murphy
Data Visualization Evangelist, SAS Canada via SAS Australia & NZ

Travis Murphy is a strong advocate and evangelist around self-service analytics and data visualization. His career has been focused on helping organizations, public and private sector, get the most from their investment in business analytics software. Travis has worked on many data warehousing projects, directly with the customer and for great software vendors, like SAS, to assist in delivering on the promise of self-service analytics. He loves technology and how it changes the world around us, and tries to pass his energy to people around the world. Travis has presented at conferences, like SAS Global Forum, and continues to share interesting and reusable use cases for SAS software.

Matt Joyce
Data Scientist, SAS Canada

Matt has been with SAS for 5 years, currently on the Data Sciences team based out of Calgary. After recently finishing his Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Victoria, Matt has had extensive experience working with both SAS and open source tools to build his own “analytics ecosystem”. Matt will be discussing how to build a cohesive analytics ecosystem in an “Open” world.
