Steve Holder
National Analytics Lead

As National Practice Lead Analytics for SAS Canada Steve Holder is responsible for driving the analytics solution strategy in Canada; providing thought leadership for the Analytics and Big Data portfolio.  A Canadian analytics evangelist Steve has seen first-hand how the use of analytics can help customers solve the most intractable problems; make the best decisions possible and unearth new opportunities.   Steve’s passion is making technology make sense for everyone regardless of their technical skillset.

With over two decades of software industry experience, spanning: management, solutions architecture, presales and sales, Steve brings alignment and consistent execution across SAS’ enterprise, small and medium business segment and channel customers.  

 Prior to joining SAS in 2014 Steve was regional delivery director at IBM and Director of solution strategy at SAP. Steve received his Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University and lives in Toronto with his wife and two daughters.  During his spare time he enjoys traveling, cycling, skiing and spending time outdoors.

Kimberly Nevala is the Director of Business Strategies for SAS Best Practices. Kimberly brings 19 years of on-the-ground experience advising clients worldwide to help organizations maximize their data potential. She is responsible for market analysis, industry education, emerging best practices and strategies in the areas of business intelligence and analytics, data governance and management. A speaker and author, Kimberly is often consulted on the topic of strategic enablement and organizational dynamics. Her work has been featured on Information Week, CIO Asia, Knowledge World and TDWI. Kimberly is the author of the Anatomy of an Analytic Enterprise, Sustainable Data Governance and Top 10 Mistakes to Avoid When Launching a Data Governance Program.
