Lisa Loftis
Principal Consultant, SAS Best Practices

Lisa Loftis is a customer relationship management (CRM) and business intelligence (BI) expert with 25 years of experience in assisting organizations with adopting a customer focus. Formerly with Baseline Consulting, Lisa has worked with numerous large organizations in North America, South America, and Europe on all aspects of successful BI and CRM deployments. She specializes in combining the technology necessary to support true CRM and BI business strategies with the organizational structures, executive leadership, and cultural factors required to take an organization toward effective implementation of the enterprise strategies.

Monique Duquette

Monique Duquette
National Customer Intelligence Lead, SAS Canada

Monique Duquette is the National Customer Intelligence Lead for SAS Canada. In this role, Monique bridges her inner creative, with her passion for marketing and her inner 'geek' to help marketing organizations elevate their marketing with decisiveness and agility.

With over a decade of experience in the design and delivery of integrated marketing systems, Monique brings world-class talent and expertise at mapping marketing technology to address the inherent challenges in brand planning, managing marketing financials, creative development and agency collaboration. Monique has consulted with some of the world’s leading brands such as Bank of America, Kraft Foods & Mondelez, P&G, Warner Bros., and Viacom in the areas of integrated marketing management, marketing operations management and digital asset management.

Prior to consulting, Monique held several marketing roles where she experienced first-hand, the pain of everyday marketers struggling to gain real-time insights into their business, while striving to achieve the levels of accountability required of the modern marketer. It is her background in the 'trenches' that fires her passion for helping marketers break-free from the confines of manual management, leverage technology the right way and help them extract value from their technology investments.

Mr. Anderson is a Managing Director in Accenture’s Analytics Advisory practice and has over twenty years of experience defining data strategies and solutions for financial services, communications and high tech companies.  His recent focus has been in helping clients define hybrid architectures that interconnect advanced analytics capabilities with their current data programs in order to drive new insights.

David is a Senior Manager in Accenture’s Strategy practice and has over ten years of experience in strategy development, customer experience and operational improvement for Communications, Media and Technology companies.  His recent focus has been in helping clients take data driven approaches to develop new strategies for their most important challenges, including customer experience improvements, product development, sales and marketing, through advanced analytics.

Tamara Dull

Tamara Dull
Director of Emerging Technologies, SAS Best Practices

Tamara Dull is the Director of Emerging Technologies for SAS Best Practices, a thought leadership organization at SAS Institute. Through engaging publications, rich media and industry engagements, she delivers a pragmatic perspective on topics including big data, privacy, and the Internet of Things. She was recently listed as #13 on the Big Data 2015: Top 100 Influencers and Brands list.

Tamara has been in the high tech industry for 30 years, and has held positions in enterprise training, consulting, software development, marketing, and IT, product, and executive management. She uses her unique blend of data-rich experience, market understanding and technical prowess to educate and entertain data professionals on the how-to’s, best practices, and trends in today’s emerging marketplace.

As a pioneer in social media and online strategy, Tamara has established dynamic social marketing and collaboration initiatives. Prior to SAS, she provided strategic marketing and branding leadership and online media expertise for a management consulting firm, helmed a major release of a high-tech startup’s enterprise collaboration software suite, and developed a website application in her role as co-founder of a nonprofit.

Tamara regularly writes and blogs for SAS, SmartData Collective and The Cyberista Says at tamaradull.com. Two popular publications include The Big Data E-book: A Tale of Customer Loyalty and Going SoLoMo and A Non-Geek’s Big Data Playbook: Hadoop and the Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Anne Buff
Thought Leader, SAS Best Practices

Anne Buff is a Business Solutions Manager and Thought Leader for SAS Best Practices, a thought leadership organization at SAS institute. As a speaker and author she specializes in the topics of data governance, MDM, data integration and data monetization. Her energy, excitement and enthusiasm for all things data will grab you in ways you never expected, leaving you refreshed and ready to take on your toughest of data issues.

Anne has been a specialist in the world of data for over 15 years and has developed courseware for a wide range of technical concepts and software, including SAS® Data Management. In her current role she leverages her training and consulting experience and her data-savviness to lead best practices workshops and facilitate intra-team dialogs to help companies realize their “data potential.”

Anne is passionate about sharing her love for data and ensuring everyone knows the technical world can (and should) be FUN! Before joining SAS, she developed a vocational training rehabilitation program that helped over 1,000 local displaced workers gain skills to re-enter the workforce in technology positions.

Anne went to clown school as a child, which culminated in spending a week with the circus, an experience that taught Anne to always have fun in her job. She went on to attain a Master’s Degree in Organizational Communication from West Virginia University, which wasn’t as fun as the circus – but it has taught her all about juggling corporate teams. Her mission is to help you find your love for data because (as she says) it will love you back.

Jill Dyche

Jill Dyche
VP SAS Best Practices

Jill Dyché is an acknowledged speaker, author, and blogger on the topic of aligning IT with business solutions. As the Vice President of Best Practices for SAS, she speaks, writes, and blogs about the business value of analytics and information.

Jill was a partner and co-founder of Baseline Consulting, where she combined the roles of best-practice expert, industry gadfly, key client advisor, and all-around thought leader. Her global client list includes Verizon, Microsoft, American Express, 20th Century Fox and the French National Railroad among many others. Baseline Consulting, recognized as the leader in the niche of management consulting for business intelligence and data governance strategy, was acquired by SAS in 2011.

At both firms, Jill has led client strategies and market analysis in the areas of business alignment, data governance, business intelligence, master data management, CRM, and big data. She presents regularly at industry events, and counsels executive teams and boards of directors on the strategic importance of their companies’ IT investments.

Yuri Levin

Yuri Levin
Chaired Professor of Operations Management
Director, Master of Management Analytics & Scotiabank Centre for Customer Analytics

Yuri Levin is Chaired Professor of Operations Management, the inaugural Director of Master of Management Analytics programme, and the inaugural Director of Scotiabank Centre for Customer Analytics at Smith School of Business. He teaches analytical decision making, strategic analytics, and pricing analytics courses in MBA, MMA, and Executive Education programmes. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from Rutgers University in the US where he taught in different MBA programmes for 3 years before joining Queen's in 2002.

Yuri was the 2013 and 2014 recipient of the MBA Professor of the Year Award and the 2014 and 2015 recipient of the Master of Management Analytics Professor of the Year Award. He has developed innovative approaches and published widely in the general area of revenue management and dynamic pricing. He was a co-winner of 2013 INFORMS Revenue Management and Pricing Practice Prize for pricing and promotions analysis at Molson Coors Brewing Company and a co-winner of 2009 INFORMS COIN-OR Cup for applications of COIN-OR technologies in development of novel techniques for cargo capacity management and dynamic pricing. He was also the 2010 recipient of Queen's School of Business Award for Research Achievement and 2003 New Researcher Achievement Award. Yuri is an Associate Editor of Operations Research.

He served as Chair of INFORMS Revenue Management and Pricing section, Associate Editor of Management Science, and was a Guest Editor of the special issue of European Journal of Operational Research on Revenue Management and Dynamic Pricing. Yuri's research has been funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Council of Canada. Yuri has consulted widely on consumer behavior modeling and optimization of pricing and developed corporate training programmes in strategic analytics, analytical decision making, and strategic pricing optimization.
