Paul Dick, Executive Lead – Utilities, Americas Energy Practice, SAS

Paul Dick joined the Americas SAS Energy team in 2013 as Executive Lead and Principal Industry Consultant for the Utilities Industry. Paul brings 28 years of experience working for utility and telecommunications companies in a variety of leadership, business and technology positions.

Prior to joining SAS, Paul held the position of Director of Enterprise Information Management at OGE Energy Corp. In this capacity, he was responsible for enterprise analytics, integration, governance, business intelligence, data warehousing, enterprise content management, ERP systems, portals, user experience and collaboration. He co-architected and designed an award-winning program called Information Factory that created information from new data sources of the smart grid including strategic and operational analytics capabilities. The Information Factory Program received national recognition from InformationWeek Magazine, CIO Magazine and the Utility Analytics Institute in 2011 and 2012.

Paul has provided leadership on multiple industry councils, including the Utility Analytics Institute Executive Advisory Council. A regular on the speaking circuit, Paul has presented on many industry topics including demand response, geospatial analytics, dynamic customer segmentation, utility economic impacts through analytics, utility business transformation, and enterprise information architecture. Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University.
