How Optimizing the Supply of Critical Raw Materials With Analytics Paves the Way For a Green Europe

E-BOOK

How optimizing the supply of Critical Raw Materials with Artificial Intelligence (AI) paves the way for a green Europe

By Brecht Seifi and Bahar Biller

Critical Raw Materials (CRM) – such as lithium, copper, nickel and magnesium – will soon become more important than oil and gas. Since we need them to build, for example, solar panels and wind turbines, shortages in CRMs may pose a risk to the Green Deal, Europe’s plan to become carbon-neutral by 2050.

Unless we act now and establish strategic reserves, it could even lead to the next geopolitical (energy) crisis. Fortunately, AI will help us make better-informed decisions to anticipate on this scenario.

Read our eBook to discover:

  • how Europe’s Critical Raw Material Act establishes a framework for sustainable CRM supply
  • why we need a Digital Twin to stress test the resilience of our European supply chains
  • how AI and analytics can help identify CRMs in Europe or find alternative resources
