Eneco selects SAS® Visual Analytics to optimize customer experience

Energy company Eneco will use SAS® Visual Analytics, SAS® Enterprise MinerTM and SAS® Office Analytics to deliver better customer experience. Eneco is one of the largest producers and suppliers of sustainable energy in Belgium. They expect SAS' high-performance analytical solution to give them better insights in customer needs, satisfaction and value. And to help them determine for each individual customer what’s the product and service that best suits their needs.
Since the launch of Eneco on the Belgian retail market in August 2011, the company has seen a period of steep growth. Today, in Belgium, Eneco employs 200 employees and serves around 5.000 Business to Business connections and 300.000 Retail connections. This portfolio continues to grow. Growing but always aiming to be 100 % sustainable. Not only with respect to energy production and supply, but also with respect to customer relations and service. This translates in a strong believe in customer intimacy and experience throughout the whole organization.
To support this goal, a decision was now taken to select a standard tool that offers more advanced capabilities and would help Eneco to face challenges beyond simple reporting. Although the project just started recently, Eneco has already obtained significant results to more efficiently translate data into easy-to-understand and actionable insights.
