Paul has over 30 years professional and commercial experience in financial services covering banking, insurance and wealth management. He is a former partner at Deloitte and Ernst & Young.

As Director, Financial Services for SAS Australia and New Zealand, he is responsible for sales and industry strategies for banking customers and risk management solutions and a member of the Global Banking Council for SAS. He is a Fellow of FINSIA and a certified finance and treasury professional.During his time at SAS, he has been Executive Sponsor for several of our largest Australia and New Zealand financial services customers including overseeing major sales and technology solution delivery initiatives for financial and credit risk management. He is a recognised public speaker and thought leader in financial services.


Elena Lambros

Elena leads Ashurst Risk Advisory's Sustainability and Regulatory Advisory practice and works with clients to implement sustainable, agile and effective risk management that supports the achievement of business strategies and commitments in relation to net zero and net negative targets while ensuring regulatory and compliance obligations are met.

Our sustainability practice includes climate changes and social license risks. It avoids traditional practice silos and brings together teams of professionals to advise on regulatory, judicial and governance changes, including stakeholder and community expectations as well as risks that are hard to place or measure, yet are very real for customers, investors and employees.

With over 15 years of experience implementing large strategic transformation and regulatory change projects, strategic risk management and project assurance, Elena focuses on specialist risk advisory services, optimising risk strategy and facilitating consistent risk-based decision making to support the achievement of client strategic objectives, within both the financial services and public service sectors.

Paul is a Sydney-based Deloitte Asia Pacific partner in the Climate & Sustainability practice. He works with businesses and the public sector to help them manage their most strategic risks and take real action on the opportunities emanating from climate change, decarbonisation and sustainability.

Paul has 20+ years’ experience working with clients across diverse sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom. He leads Deloitte Australia's Climate Risk offerings supporting clients to understand the impacts, risks and opportunities arising from climate change. This includes consideration of physical and transition impacts of climate change and the strategic and financial implications in the long term.

Paul has extensive experience in the provision of a wide range of sustainability services to clients including sustainability strategy, integrated reporting, sustainability report assurance, greenhouse gas emissions and energy reporting, stakeholder engagement and human rights advisory. He is a recognised expert on non-financial reporting, sustainability reporting, greenhouse gas emissions reporting and assurance, carbon pricing and TCFD in Australia.


Nicki Hutley 
Economist

Nicki Hutley is a highly experienced economist, with broad-based expertise in both macroeconomics and microeconomic policy, gained over more than three decades in financial and investment markets and in economic consulting.

After many years in the corporate world, including most recently as a partner with Deloitte Access Economics, Nicki is now an independent economist and keynote speaker. She is an economic adviser with Social Outcomes, developing and evaluating social impact programs, and a Councillor with the Climate Council.

Nicki holds an Honours degree in Economics. She was recently elected President of the Economics Society of Australia (NSW branch) and is a Board member for One Million Women and the Financy Women’s Index.

Nicki is a frequent commentator in the media and is a regular guest on both The Drum and The Project.
