Alexon Bell

Compliance Solution Director, SAS EMEA & AsiaPac

Alexon Bell is an experienced financial crime specialist with over 15 years’ experience in this field. He has worked in the banking, insurance, government and telecommunications sectors helping organisations comply with regulations and protect their customers and shareholders from losses.

Alexon has been involved in numerous projects across all sectors of compliance, ranging from sanctions and PEP screening solutions through to global, multi-country, multi-jurisdiction anti-money laundering (AML) transaction monitoring implementations and the creation of institutional and governmental Financial Crime Intelligent Units.

Alexon has worked with many leading banks on fraud projects, ranging from traditional banking fraud through to international payments and trade finance, as well as market abuse and rogue trader detection. He is currently focused on Hybrid AML approaches, applying advanced analytics to optimised existing platforms helping to dramatically reduce false positives.

Prior to joining SAS, Alexon worked for organisations including Searchspace, Fortent, Actimize and Oracle:Datanomic, where he helped implement some of the first automated AML systems in Europe, South Africa, Middle East and Asia.

Alexon holds a Diploma in AML compliance from the International Compliance Association (Manchester Business School) and is a Certified AML Specialist (CAMS).


Keith Swanson

Keith Swanson

Head of Fraud & Financial Crimes, SAS Australia & New Zealand

Keith Swanson is the Director of the SAS Fraud, Financial Crime and Security Intelligence Practice for Southeast Asia. Prior to joining SAS in 2010, Keith held a number of senior positions with a longstanding SAS customer in the financial services sector in the USA. He’s also spent time in management and business process consulting with several organisations including IBM Global Business Services Australia and New Zealand where he worked with clients to identify and deliver business value in financial and customer intelligence, advanced customer insight, business analytics strategy and advanced analytics and optimisation. Key to his experience is understanding how customer behavioural insights can be used to address a variety of business opportunities and challenges.

Keith and his team work extensively with customers in developing strategies and applying solutions to combat financial crime, fraud, waste and abuse. He works directly with the global Enterprise Financial Crime Practice and Public Security Business Unit.

Keith Swanson has previously earned Project Management Institute and Life Management Institute accreditations and has sat on Forrester’s Database Marketing Council. In addition to studying Information Security, Swanson has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Physics from Illinois Wesleyan University, and a Master of Business Administration at the University of Texas in Dallas.

Christopher Ghenne

Christopher Ghenne

Business Solution Manager, SAS EMEA & AsiaPac

Christopher Ghenne is a financial crime specialist with over 10 years’ experience in this field. He has worked in the banking, insurance, government and telecommunications sectors helping organisations comply with Anti Money Laundering regulations and protect their customers and shareholders from losses.

Working across the EMEA and AsiaPac regions, Christopher is responsible for developing propositions (including AML transaction monitoring, AML Optimisation and FATCA) for specific markets, working to strategically develop financial crime capabilities.

Prior of joining SAS, Christopher spent 8 years at Fiserv where he had various roles such as trainer, business analyst, pre sales and business development for the financial crime division. He was involved in more than 150 AML/CTF implementations worldwide.

Christopher has a Master in Economics from the University of Brussels (ULB) and is a certified anti money laundering specialist (CAMS). He is French speaking native and is fluent in English and Spanish.
